The theme of the week was Anxiety.
Throughout the week staff and students explored the symptoms of anxiety and learnt about ways we can manage these feeling when they arise.
Following the amazing response to her sessions at the 2022 TSAT Conference, we are delighted to have Nina Bedwell, a Contemporary Psychotherapist, NLP Practitioner and Wellbeing Consultant, supporting our Mental Health Awareness Week activities. Over the course of the week, Nina shared a variety of techniques to help manage and overcome feelings of anxiety through daily, pre-recorded sessions. The sessions covered the following topics:
• Monday: What is anxiety, and why do we experience it?
• Tuesday: Somatic techniques to manage anxiety
• Wednesday: Journaling to manage anxiety
• Thursday: Live Q&A at 5pm
• Friday:Tapping to manage anxiety
