It is expected that successful trainees will go on to work within their host school or group of schools.
In order to help you prepare for the year ahead you will be invited to attend an Induction Programme focusedon Behaviour Management. This is a great opportunity to bond with your fellow trainees and to share your ideas and experience with them.
You will be allocated a mentor who is a subject specialist and will offer you personalised support and guidance throughout the training year. You will meet with your mentor on a weekly basis, setting short and long-term targets and reviewing your progress against the Teachers’ Standards that form the basis of your training.
Working within a successful partnership of schools means that you will be provided with opportunities to share good practice and visit other schools, thus benefitting from the expertise of a wide range of highly skilled professionals.
The application process will vary depending on your location, and where you wish to start your professional journey.
