We are seeking an exceptional and visionary Headteacher to lead Plympton Academy from January 2025. As the Headteacher, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our academy. You will work closely with staff, parents, and the wider community to ensure that our pupils receive an outstanding education whilst developing our school.

At Plympton Academy we believe in inspiring a culture of success for all, including our staff. We have a strong culture of staff development and support - high quality CPD, based on research and evidenced best practice, which is prioritised and supported through a tailored coaching programme

Our Trust-led CPD provision, Thinking Horizons, offers pathways for professional development that each cater to different aspirations for how you wish to advance your career.

Staff are encouraged to reflect upon short-term and long-term goals through 'Think Ahead' fortnightly check-ins with line managers. We as a Trust also offer subsidies to encourage staff to discover and attend courses that will enrich their knowledge of learning practices.
